Inspect vehicles, their surroundings, and carry out a rescue
Inspect the inside and outside of the vehicle and surroundings, break down the door, search and rescue the victim.
Challenges
Visual inspection of dark, confined space.
Use tools to rescue victims. Handle a person.
Simulation Task TS2
Secure the Route
Traverse an area off the path (to a designated location), transfer, extract, prepare for blasting (drill and insert cylinder).
Challenges
Handling an L-shaped piece of debris with an unknown centre of gravity.
Simulation Task TS3
Extinguish Fire
Pull out hose, connect hose and nozzle, operate valve, and extinguish fire.
Challenges
Ability to perform a range of fire fighting tasks (handle pliable object such as a hose, connect a nozzle to a hose etc.), ability to counter the force of water from hose.
Simulation Task TS4
Inspection of tunnel wall and secondary equipment
Inspection of bolts of secondary equipment (jet fan), inspection of tunnel wall surface, and road surface.
Challenges
Ability to deal with a the wide area of the tunnel wall, and inspection of secondary equipment.
